Intrigue by Savvay McIntosh
A softly wind kissed flame
burning down insecure shoulders,
wherein porcelain fingers ensare
tremulous desires that have no name.
Moonlight cast on Chinese red tresses attest,
unhinging my soul,
as a child cries within
of your loneliness.
Only eternities can make stone feel,
but voice a celestial sea's star-spangled waves,
Aurora's night song shall be heard,
As mind hears soul when lips are sealed.
How can a face so beautiful such sorrow retain?
How can someone so fragile- - -
bear so much pain?

The rarest rose of all
Rarest Rose of All
By Savvay McIntosh
Drifting down a smoke fogged street,
Rising boldly out the rot, gloom and concrete.
Sharp with thorns of anger and sorrow,
Made beautiful by hardships past and sunless tomorrow's.
Apathetic to cruel opinions and kind words,
Blossoming on the narrow edge of a curb,
Watching me stop as the world passes by,
What is this lavender curiosity that has caught my eye?
A reflection of a normal person,
A person, on the inside who's hurtin',
One night stands and nothing to lose,
What's this a purple rose in the ghetto ( in a young mind) has bloomed

The American Dream pt. 1
America is a dream,
An illusion so beatiful,
One fails to realize it's a prison.
In our own naivety,
We call this 'land of the free' our home.
We cannot see it for what it is - -
A land of slaves.
For with our minds in chains of ignorance,
We cannot realize,
What we've named 'freedom' is a - - cage.
Amber
Amber is the color of old
A beautiful stone of fiery gold
Locks within impressions of past
Impressions on a boy's mind that always last
Amber, the color of the bird in the sky
In a graceful arc it swoops and dives
Like the jaguar in jungle dark
Cold as stone
....Like your heart. . . .
Amber, the color of a painful past
Of a friendship that did not last
Alas I see you don't care
I can tell by your apathetic stare
Just listen to me for one last time
Just to hear my final rhyme
I don't know where to start
But from the bottom of my heart
Amber is the beautiful color of your eyes
The light in them slowly dies
As

I haven't been on Deviantart in FOREVER. Real life and virtual life have been more important than art recently and that needs to change. Yeah. It really does.
I hate the world today that I live in. When I'm old enough I'll make sure to change it. Its just the people in it. A sea of weak minds. I hate people who give up their beliefs when the goin' gets tough. I hate those people who cling to stupid idols like celebrities and tell people 'they were the only ones there for me' and all that bull. How stupid can a person be. Why attach yourself to someone who will never know your name and all you are to them is a paycheck? I invite those people to send personal letters to their idols and see if they respond back. I hate ignorant people because its because of them the worlds a mess. I just want to stan
I send out all of my condolences to the families and people who were victims in the recent tsunami. In these dark times may we all find the strength to pull together and help each other rebuild our worlds.
